This lunch-hour beginner sewing workshop is the perfect place to start! Healthy Workplace is collaborating with Carleton&#8217;s School of Industrial Design to offer two sewing workshops to staff and faculty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"learn-to-sew-pin-cushion\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learn to Sew: Pin Cushion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">August 13, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whether you&#8217;ve never touched a sewing machine or are looking to build on your skills, this beginner-friendly workshop is for you! Join local designer and School of Industrial Design Laboratory Technician, Heather, in the S.I.D. Soft Lab to learn sewing machine basics while creating your own pin cushion!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"registration-required-please-note-space-is-limited\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Registration Required &#8211; Please note: space is limited<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the space and equipment within the lab, we can only accommodate <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">7 participants <\/strong>per workshop. In order to ensure that more people can participate in this offering, we ask that you please choose which of the two workshops you would like to attend.
