Throughout June, Healthy Workplace<\/a> is teaming up with Sustainability Carleton<\/a> to bring Let’s Bike Month Ottawa<\/a> to Carleton University. This exciting initiative features a variety of engaging events, including a free cycling workshop and bike tune-ups, encouraging everyone to hop on their bikes and explore the city on two wheels. Experience a more active and sustainable alternative for your daily commutes to and from campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let’s Bike Month Ottawa<\/a> inspires the Ottawa community to use bicycles for transportation, promoting the environmental benefits of cycling over driving. Participants can track their impact on reducing greenhouse gas, emissions and air pollution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4 Ways to you can participate in Bike Month!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Join the Road Ravens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Join Sustainability Carleton & Healthy Workplace’s team, Road Ravens, and log your rides throughout June for a chance to win awesome prizes! Engage in friendly competition with friends and colleagues, positively impact the planet, and save money on gas. Let’s be more active and lead a sustainable lifestyle together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Attend a FREE Let’s Bike Ottawa Workshop<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Presented by Let’s Bike Ottawa and delivered by a friendly, experienced cyclist, this workshop will provide participants with answers to commonly asked questions. You’ll learn about how to navigate Ottawa by bike: tips, infrastructure and general best practices with lots of time for questions and answers! This workshop is adapted for cyclists of every age and ability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us on Wednesday, June 4<\/strong> 12:00pm – 1:00pm<\/strong> in Tory Building – Room 506.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Don’t have a bike? Consider Carleton’s Bike Loan Program!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
