Holocaust Education Month Pop Up Museum 2018

In November 2018, in honour of Holocaust Education Month, the Zelikovitz Centre for Jewish Studies, Temple Israel Religious School, the Ottawa Jewish Archives, and the Centre for Holocaust Education and Scholarship collaborated to create an in-person HEM Pop-Up Museum, where local Ottawa families shared stories of their family’s experience and connections to the Holocaust through a variety of beautiful and meaningful objects and artifacts.

Photos of those objects are now displayed in this Holocaust Virtual Museum, allowing the experiences of those who lived through this dark time in history to be shared with the world and never be forgotten.
