To apply for the post-doctoral fellowship, an applicant must submit:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. a CV [max. length = 3 pages] outlining:\n
      \n
    • academic background;<\/li>\n
    • professional\/work experience;<\/li>\n
    • research experience; and<\/li>\n
    • other relevant accomplishments and skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • a motivation letter [max. length = 2 pages]setting out the applicant\u2019s:\n
        \n
      • background and experience in heritage conservation;<\/li>\n
      • proficiency and record in academics, research, leadership and presentation; and<\/li>\n
      • reasons for applying for the one-year fellowship.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • a work sample [URL link or 10MB max. size]<\/li>\n
      • graduate and undergraduate academic transcripts [PDF];<\/li>\n
      • a written research proposal [maximum length = 10 pages] that sets out the goals, techniques, components and anticipated outcomes of the proposed research project and outlines a schedule for achieving the project within the one-year time-frame of the fellowship; and a dissemination\/valorization strategy to publish work in scientific journals.<\/li>\n
      • two references, consisting of:\n
          \n
        • a standard referee appraisal form; and<\/li>\n
        • a letter [max. length = 2 pages] addressing: academic ability and record; research ability and record; teaching and language ability; creativity; professional experience; work ethic; and accomplishments, skills and strengths.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Item F (reference letters and forms) must be submitted directly by your referees to the Program Coordinator at laurie.smith3@carleton.ca .<\/p>\n
