However, few frameworks exist for best practices on how to conduct these assessments and what they mean, making it difficult and time-consuming for professionals to manage heritage sites over the long term. This workshop will explore the concepts of risk, threat and vulnerability as they pertain to built heritage. and through case studies discuss methodology and its application in identifying problems, solutions, and their relationship to questions of sustainability. Participants will have the opportunity to apply workshop concepts to a field site.<\/p>\n<p>The full-day event will be held on <strong>Friday, October 12, 2018 from 9:30am &#8211; 4:30pm at St. Mary&#8217;s Church, 100 Young Street, Ottawa<\/strong>. Lunch is included.
