On Saturday, November 1, Prof. Mark Phillips lectured as part of a panel on Historical Research on Canada and Beyond presented by the Canadian Historical Association. Phillips is a professor in the Department of History and his recent book On Historical Distance was the winner of the prestigious Canadian Historical Association’s Wallace K. Ferguson Prize for best book in non-Canadian history.
