What is your favourite thing about the program?
My favourite thing about the program was the depth and breadth of knowledge available via the various courses and professors, as well as the many stimulating post class conversations had with both instructors and students.
What will you miss the most?
What I will miss most are the wise, friendly, and passionate people that I got the pleasure of interacting with throughout my program.
What is your favourite reading/book/text from the program?
My favourite reading from my program was probably Igor’s Death and Olga’s Revenge, a tale from 945 AD about the Kievan Queen Olga, who conquered a neighbouring kingdom to avenge her husband’s death. She did this by consistently outsmarting her opponents in the most entertaining ways, thus earning a position of honour and glory in early Russian history.
What’s next for you?
Now that I have completed my program I am going on to study Political Management at Carleton Univerity’s Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs, with my hopes set on someday running for public office.
