What is your favourite thing about the program?

Carleton’s MA Public History stream offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience through its summer internship. I completed my internship at Library and Archives Canada and learned so many practical skills that are applicable to my future job prospects. I chose Carleton because of its “capital advantage” and the reputation of its Public History program and I was not disappointed.

What’s next for you?

I will present my research on queer femininities and German commemoration at the 6th World Conference of the International Federation for Public History in Berlin in 2021. I’m excited to revisit the city where I conducted most of my MA research as a Carleton alumna.
