He will present his work on the activities of the Ukrainian Aid Committee in Brazil and Canada, focusing on their efforts to support Displaced Persons after World War II. Drawing on official documents from governments, committees, and humanitarian organizations such as the International Refugee Organization (IRO), his work also examines the personal struggles and challenges faced by refugees through their letters of appeal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event is co-hosted by the Canadian Network on Humanitarian History (CNHH) and Carleton University Department of History.
