She teaches and researches the past of social policies, children\u2019s rights, humanitarian aid, disability and technology, refugees, and the extraction of natural resources. She was President of the Ottawa Historical Association from 2019 to 2022. She was President of the Canadian Historical Association from 2013 to 2015, member of the Board of the Canadian Federation of Social Sciences and Humanities (CFSSH) from 2012 to 2017, and&nbsp; French Editor of the <em>Journal of the Canadian Historical Association<\/em>&nbsp;for 20 years.
