Make History with Us!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Studying history allows us to recognize and understand the complex issues that shaped the contemporary world. We offer courses<\/a> in African, American, Asian, Canadian, Caribbean, European, Latin American and South Asian history. Some courses trace the history of a region or period’s social, political and cultural change. Others are thematic and may examine women\u2019s history, the histories of science, sexuality, food and drink, or slavery. In the Public History concentration<\/a>, Honours students explore how history appears in our everyday lives, not just in museums and monuments, but also in movies, reality television, video games, music and the stories families and communities pass from one generation to the next. Our graduates have gone on to careers<\/a> in museums, heritage conservation, the public service, media and the arts, education, and business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet Nigel <\/h2>

Nigel was a 4th year undergraduate History student, with a double major in Greek and Roman Studies and a minor in Archeology and Medieval & Early Modern Studies.\nNigel is now curator of Roman archaeology at the National Museum of Archaeology in Malta.<\/p><\/header>
