The screening and discussion will take place on <strong>Friday, November 7th, 2014, from 4:00 &#8211; 7:00 PM<\/strong> in Paterson Hall 433 (the History Lounge). <a href=\"http:\/\/www.carleton.ca\/history\/people\/jacob-kovalio\/\">Professor Jacob Kovalio<\/a> will introduce the documentary. Snacks and drinks will be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eihei-ji&nbsp;(The Temple of Eternal Peace), is the leading monastery of the Soto Zen Buddhist sect founded by the monk D\u014dgen, in western Japan. D\u014dgen&nbsp;also designed the compound, whose wooden structures are over 700 years old.
