Macdonald Prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"stcpDiv\">\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cha-shc.ca\/english\/what-we-do\/cha-prizes\/the-sir-john-a-macdonald-prize.html#sthash.SaxEKKoq.CjUj1309.dpbs\">Sir John A. Macdonald Prize<\/a> is attributed annually to the best scholarly book in Canadian history and is awarded, since 2009, at the yearly Governor General Awards for Excellence in Teaching Canadian History at Rideau Hall in Ottawa, in addition to its long-established presentation at the annual CHA\u2019s Annual Meeting.<\/p>\n<p>The Canadian Historical Association\/La Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 historique du Canada is proud of its relationship with Manulife as the sponsor of the Sir John A.
