Carleton is fortunate to have such strong early career scholars.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Evans, a faculty member at the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/history\/\">Department of History<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/fass\/\">Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences<\/a>, expressed her thanks for the honour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt demonstrates a commitment to sexuality studies as a way to think about family formation, human rights and the history of emotions and desire.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her research is focused on contemporary German and European history, the history of sexuality and historical subjectivity. Evans has previously been awarded numerous grants from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, including a 2013-2015 Insight Grant for her project <em>Photography and the Sexual Revolution<\/em>.
