Jeff is a part-time student weaving his studies in history around a full-time job with an agency of the Canadian Government. He\u2019s interested in the analytical side of digital history as a complement to the other methods of history. His project involves building analytical tools around the <a href=\"http:\/\/collections.banq.qc.ca:8008\/jrn03\/equity\/src\/\">scanned archive of the Shawville Equity newspaper<\/a> held by the Province of Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jeff\u2019s work <a href=\"http:\/\/jeffblackadar.ca\/\">may be followed along here.<\/a> His final project work from <a href=\"http:\/\/craftingdigitalhistory.ca\">HIST3814o Crafting Digital History<\/a> which serves as the launchpad for the current project <a href=\"http:\/\/jeffblackadar.ca\/portal\/view\/view.php?id=11\">can be explored here<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jeff Blackadar has been awarded the 2017 George Garth Graham Undergraduate Digital History Fall Research Fellowship.
