On May 28, 2019, Professor Sonya Lipsett-Rivera<\/a> will give the keynote address for the Simposio Internacional: G\u00e9nero y Resistencia at the Pontificia Universidad de Chile in Santiago. The title of her talk is \u201cLas identidades de g\u00e9nero: rompiendo las cajas.\u201d The symposium is part of a Project sponsored by the EU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On June 1st<\/sup>, 2019, she will begin her Senior Research Fellowship with the Mar\u00eda Sybilla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies. As part of this fellowship, she will be giving a talk in a symposium in Weingarten, Germany on June 29, 2019, entitled \u201cPatriotas y prostitutas:  el g\u00e9nero y la naci\u00f3n en la historia latinoamericana.\u201d She will be at the Merian Center from July 1 to August 14, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
