Professor Jennifer Evans<\/a> gave two papers in Europe in late June.  One, delivered at the international Memory Studies Association meeting in Madrid Spain<\/a>, examined ways in which historians can analyze Facebook to better understand how far-right groups use historical referents in their online appeal to adherents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other, at the ALMS Conference in Berlin on Queering Memory<\/a>, showcased her work with audio-visual artist Benny Nemerofsky Ramsay<\/a>. Their project on the libraries of queer elders will form the basis of an exhibition in the fall of 2020 at the Carleton University Art Gallery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
