Do I need to provide proof of my date of birth or social insurance number (SIN)?

New employees do not need to provide proof of date of birth. Only temporary residents need to provide proof of SIN in the form of a letter of confirmation from Service Canada.

Be sure to indicate your date of birth and SIN on the Personal Tax Credit Return forms included in the employee documentation package.
