Cyberbullying Panel Discussion

Carleton University invites you to attend a panel discussion on cyberbullying

TIME: 10:30 to noon (Students) and 1:30pm to 3:00pm (Staff and Faculty)

The panel will discuss a number of emerging issues around cyberbullying, including what constitutes “cyberbullying” from a psychological and legal perspective, as well as how to identify the risks of cyber activity, ways to structure the work environment such that cyberbullying behaviours are not supported and ways to regulate it when it does occur, while not compromising academic freedom and freedom of speech. The panel will also cover general issues and the policy frameworks which already exist at the university. The sessions will be videotaped and posted on the EHS and student websites for those who cannot attend.
