|Degrees:||B.Sc. Chemistry (Windsor University); B.A. Modern Languages (Windsor University); M.Cog. Science (Carleton)|
I am a PhD candidate, having joined the program in September 2015. I received my B.Sc. in Chemistry ad my B.A. in Modern Languages from Windsor University. After exploring two very different fields I decided that I truly enjoy interdisciplinary research, which led me to make the shift to Cognitive Science. Currently, I am working with Dr. Ida Toivonen and am interested in language and disorders. On one hand, I am interested in how language disorders can inform linguistic theories. On the other hand, I am interested in how linguistic theories can help us design better assessment/teaching materials for individuals with language disorders.
