This month (September) ICS organized Orientations and Meet & Greet sessions for new first year students commencing their studies for the academic year 2017/2018. The purpose of these events were to provide new students with relevant information that will enable them to make a smooth transition into ICS and also meet some of the Faculty and Administrative staff.
The Director of ICS, Dr. Jo-Anne LeFevre welcomed new students by stating: “We look forward to a promising start this fall with this new group of students together with the existing ones… I encourage incoming students to take advantage of the opportunity to interact with faculty and continuing students”.
One of our new ICS Post Baccalaureate Diploma students, Nisreen AlMadhoun commented: “Orientation was designed around students, helping them to uncover the answers to the questions they had, and it provided information about campus resources, programs and services”.
This fall ICS welcomed its first ever batch of Post Baccalaureate Diploma (PBD) students in Cognitive Science along with 138 undergraduate and 9 Graduate students.
