The Carleton FASS Newsletter is highlighting two Cultural Mediations PhD students in today’s issue. The FASS Newsletter is produced by and for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. and covers the news, events and accomplishments of FASS faculty, staff and students. For more information contact Nick Ward.

You can read about our new Curatorial Studies diploma from the perspective of EuiJung McGillis, 2nd year Cultural Mediations student. EJ completed the curatorial studies concentration, on which our diploma is based, while completing her Master’s degree in Art History. The importance of the connections and experience gained from a curatorial studies practicum provided EJ with unique insight into the work of a curator at a major national institution while studying here at Carleton University.

You can also read about the work of Jonathan Shaughnessy, who, while is in his 3rd year of Cultural Mediations, is also an associate curator at the National Gallery of Canada and the lead curator for the 2017 Canadian Biennial.
