After each presentation, there will be time for feedback and discussion with the aim of helping the students to refine and develop their topics into fuller dissertation proposals. A\u00a0detailed program of the event will be circulated in advance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wahsontiio Cross, 2nd year PhD in Cultural Mediations is Curator of <em>Continuum: Abstraction in Contemporary Indigenous Art<\/em>\u00a0which opens\u00a0at the Carleton University Art Gallery on Monday, January 18 and will run until April 19, 2016. Please help us to\u00a0celebrate at the opening reception on Monday, January 18 from 5-7:30 pm. Artists highlighted include Lance Belanger, Robert House, Alex Janvier, Rita Letendre, and Helen Wassegijig.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brian Foss, Director of the School for Studies in Art &amp; Culture &amp; faculty member with ICSLAC is the Curator of:\u00a0<em>1920s Modernism in Montreal: The Beaver Hall Group <\/em>which opened on\u00a0October 24<sup>th<\/sup>, 2015 at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts where it will run until <strong>January 31, 2016.<\/strong> The exhibition will then travel to the Art Gallery of Hamilton, the Art Gallery of Windsor, and the Glenbow Museum (Calgary).
