Seminars once a week for 3 hours. <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>The University may require that all or part of this course be delivered remotely,<\/strong> including online.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Required Academic Qualifications and Skills: <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Applicants must hold at least an M.A. in a relevant discipline, with preference given to applicants holding a Ph.D.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Teaching Competence: <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Applicants must demonstrate teaching experience at the graduate level in the subject area, with preference given to candidates familiar with experiential learning.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Other Relevant Experience: <\/span><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Candidates must demonstrate substantial professional experience with curatorial practices. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>Winter 2022<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"fontstyle0\"><strong>CURA 5001 [0.5 credit], one section<\/strong><br \/>\nCuratorial Studies Pro-seminar: Visual Arts Stream<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span class=\"fontstyle2\">Practical examination of art exhibition practices; site visits and workshops designed to help students develop curatorial skills and navigate the museum world. This course trains students in the core competencies of curatorial practice. Lectures once a week for 3 hours.
