Biography
Michelle Optis is a graduate of the BID program and has earned her masters’ degree in Ergonomics (Human Factors) from the University of Derby. Michelle’s expertise is in consumer product safety at Health Canada. She is interested in the prevention of product-related incidents and injuries through the application of human factors principles at the design stage. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching yoga and growing food and flowers.
