Informal and spontaneous interactions in the office have many benefits; not only do they allow people to build interpersonal relationships with their coworkers, they are also positively correlated to team innovation (McAlpine, 2017). In lieu of the recent integration of hybrid work models, in-person informal work interactions may become far more uncommon. OASIS is a two sided coffee station that acts as both a refreshment bar and gathering station to improve social engagement in office spaces.
