This session will be partly hosted by ACIDO (Association of Chartered Industrial Designers of Ontario).
They will introduce their association to you at the beginning of the session. You can learn of the benefits of that type of network/organization.
Please take a bit of time to tune up your portfolio or consider a project or two that you’d like to present and get some constructive feedback on.
As always, this sort of event is for your benefit. It’s a great way to get some good advice about how to present, convey your good work and meet some industry people! The goal of the sessions is for students to get feedback on their near-complete portfolios. Constructive comments will be provided following the students’ presentation of their online portfolios/website to the small team of reviewers and students in your group. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions that you may have. It will be important that everyone adheres to their time limits so that we can complete the process within the 2-hour session.
