Step 1

To book your appointment please press red button “Book Online Now” on the right edge of your screen. When you scroll the screen up or down, the button will follow, making it nearly impossible to miss it 🙂

Step 2

Select an appointment with a laboratory technician. You can book ahead one month in advance. The consultation sessions are 20 minutes long.

Step 3

Once you have selected the appropriate booking, please enter your COURSE NUMBER, STUDENT ID and click “Next Step”. If you don’t have a specific course number for your project, please write “Personal Project”.

Step 4

You can select the time zone for your appointment from the drop-down menu. By default, all dates and times are in the EST zone (Eastern Standard Time). Select the desired time & date and click “Open a TIMIFY account”. You need to register for a TIMIFY account once in order to book later with the “Log in” button. Please fill in your First name, Last name, mobile phone number and your email address (Carleton email), check the confirmation box and click “Sign up”. Verify your First name, Last name and mobile phone number and click “Save & Continue”. Please note that you need to verify your email address, a verification email will be sent to your Carleton email once you click “Sign up”. It is very important to use your Carleton email address during the registration process. All accounts created with personal emails (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.) will be deleted and you will lose your booked time.

Step 5

Please verify your booking details and click “Confirm Booking”. You will receive a confirmation email with the details of your booking. 24 hours prior to your scheduled booking another email reminder will be sent. If you’re not able to make it on time, please cancel your booking (no later than 4 hours before your booking, a cancellation link will be in the same confirmation email), so another student has a chance to take that place. Please note: 3 no-shows without cancelling will be penalized at the discretion of a laboratory supervisor.
