The following two testimonials\u00a0attest to the value of such an impact for employees of Carleton:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201c<em>Coaching has allowed me to learn about myself and find answers that I didn\u2019t know I had. \u00a0\u00a0I feel that coaching enabled me to take a huge step forward in my self-confidence and in my career.\u00a0 I am achieving a new level of performance using the tools I learned during my coaching and I can now define the issue, own it and face it head on.\u00a0 I am methodical in my approach rather than reactionary and now take the time to reflect on what I have learned and move towards my best self. One direct result from my coaching is I ask for help when I need it. I don\u2019t need to have all of the answers, I bring my strengths and rely on my team for support and guidance.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>&#8220;Having the opportunity to experience one-on-one coaching had a positive impact on both my personal and professional life. Working with a coach allowed me to discuss opportunities and challenges and explore possible solutions and actions in a safe and supportive space. The coach encouraged me to think about issues from a different perspective, and devise an action plan for how to move forward. She also helped me discover skills and strengths that I had not previously recognized in myself.
