Congratulations to our Human Rights and

Human Rights & Social Justice 2020 Graduates!

Congratulations from the Faculty

“Congratulations to the HUMRSJ grads of 2020. While I will miss cheering for you as you cross the stage, I hope you will take some time to reflect on all of your accomplishments. The HUMRSJ is not an easy program and you did it! We are living in dangerous times as white supremacy shows its teeth in multiple forms and organizations such as Black Lives Matter and other initiatives lead by racialized people fight back forcing change and creating space for other worlds. As a faculty member, I have had the honour to work with so many of you who are committed students and activists. You are a creative and dedicated bunch who have so many skills that you can contribute to movements and community building. Congrats again and I hope that in the midst of everything you are facing presently, you will take the opportunity to celebrate”. –  Dan Irving

“Congratulations to all the 2020 graduates for the Human rights & Social Justice Program:
I know all of you have worked really hard to get here and you should be really proud of yourselves, as I am of each one of you. You deserve all the credit for completing your courses during the last few months that have been scary and strange, to say the least. I wish you all the very best moving forward in new jobs, further studies, and life in general, wherever you choose to go! My best wishes are with you. And I hope you will keep in touch with me about your progress every once in a while.” – Shazia Sadaf
