She completed her first year at Carleton in the Bachelor of Health Sciences program, with a concentration in Disability and Chronic Illness and expects to graduate in 2020.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">\u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Calibri;\">Her research focuses on innate immune memory. Specifically, she is examining the effects of the nutritional environment on macrophage cells and their tendency to develop either trained or tolerant phenotypes.
