On May 5-6, 2014, the Canada-India Centre held a workshop on “The Role of the Indo-Canadian Diaspora in promoting Trade, Investment and Development”. Over the course of the two-day event, participants shared ideas about how government(s), private sector networks and diaspora communities can work together to more effectively enable and enhance human and financial capital contributions of the Indian diaspora in Canada to the development of their former home countries.
