Sustainable Cities \u2013<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong><em>Opportunities for Canada-India Partnership<\/em><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>On April 15, 2015, the Canada-India Centre hosted the Smart Cities Forum 2015, <em>Smart &amp; Sustainable Cities &#8211; Opportunities for Canada-India Partnership<\/em>. \u00a0Conference sessions covered such topics as Smart Infrastructure and Buildings, Smart Energy-grid Management, Smart Transportation\/mobility and the Financing of Smart Cities.<\/p>\n<p><strong><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1987 size-thumbnail\" src=\"http:\/\/carleton.ca\/india\/wp-content\/uploads\/Keynote-160x240.jpg\" alt=\"Keynote\" width=\"160\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/india\/wp-content\/uploads\/Keynote-160x240.jpg 160w, https:\/\/carleton.ca\/india\/wp-content\/uploads\/Keynote.jpg 183w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 160px) 100vw, 160px\" \/><\/strong>The conference&#8217;s Keynote Speaker was Dr.<strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rickhuijbregts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rick Huijbregts<\/a>, <\/strong>Cisco<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Vice President,\u00a0 Industry Transformation &amp;
