He also touched upon the Parliamentary democracy at work in the context of India and its evolution.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Chinnaiah Jangam spoke about the deliberations at the Constituent Assembly and how the framers of the Constitution had discussed and debated diversity of India.<\/p>\n<p>About 50 participants, including students, academics and\u00a0representatives of both Canadian and Indo-Canadian organizations\u00a0 attended the function.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Canada-India Centre hosted an event to mark\u00a0the occasion of the Constitution Day of India.\u00a0The theme of the event was \u201cIndia\u2019s Constitution and Parliamentary Democracies&#8221;.
