\"\"On Friday, February 3rd, the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism and the Canada-India Centre for Excellence (CICE) hosted\u00a0a symposium, entitled Shifting Frames: Urbanization, Slums, and Cities of the Future. The symposium brought together stakeholders from the communities, non-for-profits, government officials, and the academic researchers. The event was\u00a0open to the public\u00a0and included an\u00a0afternoon of film screenings and talks. <\/span><\/p>\n

The Azrieli school hosted\u00a0a discussion panel on the topic of slum resettlement and urbanization, with a focus on Delhi. Panelists included Nicolas Reeves, Lorena Zarate, Puran Bhat, and Harry Sharma. The panel discussion was followed by\u00a0a reception and film screening hosted by the\u00a0Canada-India Centre for Excellence. The documentary\u00a0My Gypsy Colony\u00a0was\u00a0presented by the film producer Martine Palmer and by Puran Bhat of the Kathputli colony.<\/span><\/p>\n
