Julie is a graduate of Carleton University. After working for many years as an executive administrator within the federal government and the healthcare sector, Julie returned to work for Carleton as the Indigenous Initiatives Administrator and Special Projects Coordinator* for the Office of the Associate Vice-President Indigenous Teaching, Learning and Research. Julie is a member of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation, and is a proud mother of two boys and has been married for nearly 20 years.
