Beautiful Scars<\/em>\u00a0tells the story of Tom Wilson (Blackie and the Rodeo Kings) and his search for truth and identity when a long-held family secret comes to light. The musical, inspired by Wilson’s bestselling memoir of the same name, follows his journey from Hamilton’s east Mountain to the Kanien’keh\u00e1:ka (Mohawk) community of Kahnawake. Join a talented cast, starring Sheldon Elter as Tom Wilson, as they reveal long-hidden secrets and build a path toward understanding, belonging, and cultural celebration.<\/p>\n

Co-written by Wilson and Shaun Smyth and performed by a powerhouse ensemble, the show blends theatrical storytelling with music from Wilson’s expansive catalogue.\u00a0Beautiful Scars\u00a0<\/em>becomes both personal portrait and grand reflection as it uncovers the truth and the beauty in embracing it.<\/p>\n

While this production is based on Tom Wilson’s life story and music, Tom Wilson will not be performing on stage.<\/em><\/p>\n
