It empowers students, staff, and faculty at Carleton to further their own knowledge and become a positive force for change.<\/p>\n<p>The name <em>Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin<\/em>, which means <em>Learning Together<\/em>, is also used for the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/indigenous\/strategic-directions\/\">Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin report<\/a> published by the Carleton University Strategic Indigenous Initiatives Committee in 2020. In the following years, progress reports were also released: <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/indigenousinitiatives\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kinamagwin-Progress-Report-May-2022.pdf\">2022 Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin Progress Report<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/indigenous\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kina%CC%80ma%CC%80gawin-Learning-Together-Progress-Report-April-2024_240403.pdf\">2024 Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin Progress Report<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/indigenous\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kina%CC%80ma%CC%80gawin-Learning-Together-Progress-Report-April-2025.pdf\">2026 Kin\u00e0m\u00e0gawin Progress Report.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Previous Symposium Events<\/h2>\n<h3>2026 Symposium<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Topic: Indigenous peoples working within, against, and beyond colonial institutions while continuing to carry community, responsibility, relationality, and resurgence<\/li>\n<li>Keynote Presenters: Duncan McCue, Sgt.
