If yes, fill out the form below to register with Carleton’s Centre for Indigenous Initiatives. There are three advantages to registering with us:
- You can identify yourself as an Indigenous student at Carleton. Knowing some information about you will help us provide exceptional, culturally-grounded programs and support services to Indigenous students attending the university.
- You can gain after-hours (weekday evenings until 11:00 p.m.; and weekends 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.) swipe card entry to the Ojigkwanong Centre using your Campus Card . (Note: Please allow 48 hours for your Campus Card to be activated. You will receive an e-mail with further instructions on how to use swipe entry.)
- You can receive Minwàdjimowin (Good News), an e-newsletter that includes information about programming in the Ojigkwanong Centre or on campus; guest speakers including Elders and knowledge keepers; awards, scholarships and bursaries; employment and volunteer opportunities; and more.
Note: The information you provide will be kept confidential and will not be accessible to anyone outside of the Centre for Indigenous Initiatives in Equity Services. It may be used to compile information about Indigenous students at Carleton University to ensure our programs and services reflect needs of the Indigenous student population.
