The Centre for Indigenous Initiatives offers Kinàmàgawin workshops and training sessions to members of the Carleton community upon request. Kinàmàgawin workshops provide a safe space for the university community to voice their experiences, share their stories, learn new things and practice skills. Workshops are available through the Educational Resource Centre; in classrooms at the request of professors; and to other groups on campus who do related work.

Workshops are facilitated by the Centre for Indigenous Initiatives staff and, as often as possible, Carleton students.

The length of a workshop is a minimum of 1.5 hours. That time typically includes viewing the 42-minute film, a discussion with participants, and a participatory activity.

For more information and/or to schedule a Kinàmàgawin workshop, fill out the Contact Form online or call (613) 520-5622.
