Kashyap Achar – The Road to YC

Join us as we welcome Carleton alumnus Kashyap Achar co-founder of Bezel a Y Combinator (YC) backed startup building AI phone agents for financial institutions. Previously he was a Software Engineer in New York at Bilt scaling a credit card rewards program to over 23,000 restaurants as well as building a partnership with Walgreens, the leading pharmacy in the US. During his time at Carleton University Kashyap built Workitt, a way for remote companies to bring their employees together remotely via fitness challenges. He graduated in 2022 from Carleton University’s Computer Science program.

Kashyap has now moved to San Francisco as part of the winter 2025 YC batch to build his startup.
