Ottawa-based technology company DataKinetics<\/a> has partnered with Carleton University\u2019s Innovation Hub<\/a> to inspire and engage student entrepreneurs in their learning and new venture journeys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDataKinetics is an active participant in the community in terms of philanthropy and employee benefits that support gift giving,\u201d said Allan Zander, CEO, DataKinetics.  \u201cI am proud of that legacy but as I reflect on where I am now in my career, my desire to give back now involves not only being generous with our community gifts but also in projects where we can give back in terms of time, career development and the wisdom of my years.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cThe Allies in Innovation program with Carleton allows for that to happen.  Not only does it allow us to be part of the school but to hopefully help inspire, mentor, and develop entrepreneurial students as they embark on their careers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The Allies in Innovation program connects businesses to students in Carleton\u2019s Innovation Hub to support and nurture future founders and changemakers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We rely on the support of community partners like Data Kinetics to deliver high-impact programs that support experiential learning and exploration, launching a business or social enterprise and accelerating growth,\u201d said John Nelson, director of the Innovation Hub.     <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Led by the Sprott School of Business, the Innovation Hub<\/a> serves Carleton students from all faculties in entrepreneurship exploration and new venture development through experiential learning, mentorship and support. Since its launch in fall 2021, the Innovation Hub has supported more than 100 student-led businesses and social enterprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
