{"id":754,"date":"2018-05-14T11:49:21","date_gmt":"2018-05-14T15:49:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/internetofthings\/?p=754"},"modified":"2019-11-16T17:58:10","modified_gmt":"2019-11-16T22:58:10","slug":"carleton-outstanding-ta-award-anastassia-gharib","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/internetofthings\/2018\/carleton-outstanding-ta-award-anastassia-gharib\/","title":{"rendered":"Carleton Outstanding TA Award &#8211; Anastassia Gharib"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Out of 230 TA nominations for the Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award, Anastasia Gharib was one of the few who received the award&#8217;s honourable mention.<\/p>\n<p>This award celebrates the contributions and support Teaching Assistants give to the undergraduate programs in their disciplines, as well as their roles in establishing a positive learning environment and in implementing innovative teaching practices.<\/p>\n<p><em>From the Awards Committee:<\/em> \u201cThe awards committee was impressed with the strength and versatility of nominations as well as Carleton TAs\u2019 dedication to enhancing student learning. We received a large number of highly competitive nominations this year, but could only recognize five winners.
