“Arden Day is a first-year master’s student within the Policy Stream in the Infrastructure Protection and International Security program at Carleton University. Throughout her undergraduate degree, also at Carleton, she studied Criminology and Criminal Justice, with a concentration in Law and a minor in Political Science. She is particularly interested in geopolitics, climate change, and emergency management! In her free time, Arden enjoys exploring Ottawa, baking cookies, and playing with her pet pug!”<\/p>\n

Laura is a first year IPIS student in the policy stream. She completed her undergraduate at Carleton University in Criminology & Criminal Justice -Law. Her academic interests include national security policy, themes of counterterrorism and international relations. Her goal after completing this program is to work in the federal public service within the realm of her academic interests. In her spare time you\u2019ll find her at the gym, baking or reading.<\/p>\n

Saf Faruqui (VP Internal)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saf is a first-year master’s student in the policy stream of the Infrastructure Protection and International Security Program at Carleton University. \u00a0Saf completed his bachelor’s at Carleton, studying psychology and neuroscience before going on to study addictions and mental health at Algonquin College.\u00a0His particular interests converge on the national security aspects of counterterrorism, counterintelligence and geopolitics.
