Founded in 1942, Carleton is a public university that offers more than 65 undergraduate and graduate programs across a wide range of disciplines. Carleton, which has produced more than 140,000 alumni, is reputed for its strength in a variety of fields such as humanities, international business, engineering, physics, entrepreneurship, computer science, and public affairs. Our student body steadily is growing in size and achievement – over the last 10 years, enrollment has increased by 18% at the Masters level, and 36% at the PhD level, and the number of coop placements has increased by 277%.
