Please, be aware and be cautious as to avoid being a victim of a scam. Some phone and email scams can include:

  •   Someone claiming to be from the Tax Agency
  •   Someone inquiring about your Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  •   Employment opportunities
  •   Someone claiming to be from Immigration Refugees Citizenship and Canada (IRCC)

Do NOT provide any personal information. Do not respond to any of these phishing scams. If you suspect a phone scam, hang up immediately. If you suspect an email scam, do not respond but please forward the email to us at  so we can inform Information Technology Services (ITS). More information from the Office of Student Affairs can be found on their website.
