Recognizing research as a global phenomenon without borders is crucial in the digital age. The International Research Mobility Symposium was held by Carleton University on March 4, 2021. A common theme of sustainable development and interdisciplinary and cultural practice was featured throughout the event and serves as a testament to what International and exchange students can achieve and have accomplished on a global scale.

Topics include, though are not limited to, the global significance of Andean music and reshaping virtual reality to Urban sprawl in Western Africa and firearms culture in the United States. The video recordings and a comprehensive schedule of the event are available to all students who may have missed the opportunity to attend or would like to expand their knowledge on topics of interest to them.
