The Centre for Student Academic Support (CSAS) is offering weekly online sessions for all English language learners (ELLs) looking to develop their academic writing skills. These sessions will be dedicated to helping international and exchange students and all English Language Learners develop writing skills that will be useful throughout your degree and in the workplace.
The Academic Writing for English Language Learners series provides students with English as an additional language with opportunities to improve various academic writing skills. Sessions will be held on MS Teams every Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am (EST) from January 15, 2021, to April 9, 2021. These courses are designed to develop skills like grammar, writing structure, and academic vocabulary and syntax, and more. Time will also be dedicated for students to ask open questions regarding the practical application of the English language.
