Looking for seasonal work over the Christmas holidays? Preparing for your Co-op work term? Getting an early start on looking summer employment? If so, you will need to get a Social Insurance Number (SIN). This is requirement of employment and you will need a SIN in order to get paid.
Get your Social Insurance Number (SIN) On-Campus – Service Canada will be at Carleton to help international students get their SIN numbers. You will need to bring your passport, study permit, and Certificate of Enrollment (from Carleton Central) to your appointment.
Book a 30 minute appointment with the first one scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and the last opening time slot at 1:30 p.m.
Register in advance with the ISSO by phone (613-520-6600), email (isso@carleton.ca) or visit the ISSO (Room 128 University to book your appointment). Same day drop-ins may be accepted based on availability
