UHIP

The University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) is mandatory for all incoming international and exchange/study abroad students. Learn more about the process for obtaining your UHIP card.

Peer Mentoring

The ISSO runs a peer mentoring program, where students new to Carleton can be paired with their peers. Mentors are great sources of information and your link to support systems on campus.

Confidential Counselling

In Canada and here at Carleton, many international students find if they are experiencing personal or emotional difficulties, it helps to talk to someone caring and trained in counselling skills and who is outside your day-to-day life.

Social and Cultural Activities

English Conversation Groups
