Peer Mentoring
The ISSO runs the Global PALS program, where incoming and current international students can connect with an upper year student to discuss their social, cultural, and academic transition to life at Carleton University and in Ottawa. If you wish to be paired with a Peer Mentor, the Student Experience Office (SEO), offers Mentorship programs with more details found here. Mentors are great sources of information and your link to support systems on campus.
Immigration Support
If you have questions about study permits, visas, and more, the ISSO can help you find the answers.
Social and Cultural Activities
Follow the ISSO calendar of events to meet new international students and get connected to peers sharing the experience of transition to a new country and university life. Engage with our diverse, international community and get the most out of your time at Carleton.
